It’ll happen. Your Sena will just stop working. It did for us twice. Once on Tomm’s Sena 10C and then once on my Sena 10R. Here’s how to reset yours.
Out of the blue my Sena just stopped working. It wouldn’t turn on yet was fully charged.
We were stopped at a place for lunch waiting out a passing storm and started searching Google for reset instructions. We found nothing. Actually we found one bit that said to push the spot on the back of the unit.
Would that be on the outside near the charging port? Nothing there.
How about on the outside towards the rear (the red button area)? Nope.
What if they meant on the back of the unit, under the velcro? That seemed feasible so we sacrificed the velcro sticky to look. We found a few screws but nothing of a reset button.
Sometimes the internet sucks!
Let’s fix that. If you are looking for the reset button on your Sena 10R it’s NOT on the back. It’s that little dot right here under the plus sign!
It’s a covered switch so there’s no opening. Just use a ball point pen and you’ll feel a clicking action.
For us we had to connect it to a charger while pushing the reset. Once we did it powered up and connected to the phone and the other two Sena units just fine!
