Like I like to say, “These are the best grips you’ve never heard of”.
As the story goes, I started a few years back on these grips after a recommendation from Lyndon Poskitt. Anyone who has ridden and raced around the world probably has a pretty good idea of what works and feels good in the long term. Who wants grips that work really well but destroy your hands in the process? I want a good feel, a slightly larger diameter for my big hands and something that last a long time. I put a pair of these on my 950 and haven’t looked back. They are incredible!
OK, SO WHAT ARE THEY?
They are the Coppia Manopole MOTO RALLY-ENDURO PROGRIP 714 NERO.
See I told you’ve never heard of them!
Here’s the only place I’ve seen them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0074Y3R6O/
Pretty cheap too, right?
For the install I first cut off the old ones, cleaned the bars from glue and gunk, then simply blew them on with a little compressed air. No glue, no safety wire. They’ll have BarkBusters protecting the ends next.
Crappy pic of the grips but here’s both bikes with my favorite grips.
Next up, We install handguards!
